Default Plenum time, Again...

I bought my truck in 2009 @ 160K and test drove it and it drove ok i thought. Went to drive it home (90 miles away) and the truck burned a whole quart of oil. Called the dealer and they said they would look at it. I researched some and found (thanks to this site) out bout the infamous plenum issue. Told the dealer about it (they were not a dodge dealer) and they fixed it for me free of charge. Well now at 197K, took a looky see and sure enough its leakin again, goes to show ya just doin the gasket does not last too long... I guess on the bright side i can do the kegger mod... just thought i'd rant some

Yep. Stock plate just won't do it. You'll be happy with kegge mod anyeay. I bought an intake from a JY and modded it on the bench and changed intake out when I had the time. Saved downtime on truck. JY intake was $25.00 pulled.
