Give it a compression test. On my last engine a blown plenum had caused so much carbon buildup it had compromised the ring seal.

I need to do that. I'm kind of afraid what I will find out though.

This morning saw an inch or so of snowfall and an interesting commute to work. I noticed the truck is a lot more lively on the slick than it was previously. The only thing I've done is swiss-cheesed the cat.
