I spent 4 years in New Mexico. Worked in a long sleeve shirt with tie - they always asked why I did that when it was so hot. The few days it was high 90's to 100 degrees, with 9% humidity I would laugh at them. Try 98 nearly daily, and up to 105 with 75 to 80% humidity.

Most of NM is not that bad. I loved the weather there. And the green chilis.

Damn, here in Nebraska we start hittin teens above to teens below now then get up to 90's and 80+% humidity in summer

I would buy them in a 50 pound burlap bag (september) and roast them on the grill and freeze them. I did not make it there this year to buy a couple of bags......darn...

Gotta try the local green chili stew.

we got a tiny bit of snow on the ground here. i ditched the mechanical fan for an electric fan. i think with the mechanical fan gone i will probably not need a winter front.

It only got to -35 last year,without windchill mind you. Welcome to South Dakota

This last summer here in Shreveport it was hittin 105-115 with 98-100% humidity every day for about 2 months. I was working outside in full Air Force ABU camo's.....

My brother was at Polk YEARS ago, and to this day still complains about heat, humidity, and mosquitos there!

Very true. Then again its really the only worthwhile university in South Dakota.
