My company bought 2 f350s at the same time as buying 2 ram 2500s and the f-350s have been very low maintenance and the Dodges are non stop repairs.

Its really crazy how after 100,000 miles these dodges need everything. A 1999 F series ford for example had coil over plug where a dodge had a rotor and screwed up plug wires.
I used to plow for a guy who would replace the trucks every three years.... out of the 12 years I plowed for him we tried a new dodge..... once... then back to ford after two years...but in Dodge's defense it was a new beefed up front suspension 1500 with the extra light weight plow. (New in 98 I think).. the fords were always f250 or 350's with a regular heavy duty plow. we eventually went to a CAT for the parking lot. (I think the coil springs combined with dodge 2nd gen front suspension was just bad for plowing period)
I also have an acquaintance that says they have a bunch of mixed trucks that they use to maintain a chain of dealerships a couple being 2nd gen rams.... He gives me so much crap about owning my truck its not even funny...
Even with all the flaws its own of those love hate relationships....And then there those people that state they have 150,000 miles on their dodge and done nothing but maintenance and a starter or two...WTF!
I take it with a grain of salt with mine since the PO seem to have neglected it so....I've got less than 10,000 miles on mine since I bought it and close to 4,000 in repairs from failures IN that time. More than I've had to put in any of my other vehicles combined...

The turbo, vacuum pump and injectors have already been replaced and it only has 147K miles on it! I hope I don't have to do them for awhile at least. The front end is a TTB Dana 50 which wears out but is cheaper to rebuild than the dodge front end as it does not have unit bearings.

I do know that my dodge was not well maintained before I bought it (realized it after I purchased it though). I am big on regular maintenance and my new F250 was much better cared for than my dodge by their previous owners. The F250 is also a heavier duty truck, the 1/2 ton dodge I had was overworked and I am sure that that contributed to my bad experience. I would buy a Dodge in the future (still have two other older dodges), I just need a break from them for awhile.
get a dana 60 everything will bolt right in and it will be badass

I got a bunch of PM's about parts so I will list them here rather than answering all the PM's. All prices are best offer and were the prices I was going to put on CL. I don't mind shipping parts but I will need money in hand before I will send the parts. Shipping costs will be added on top of parts costs. I will honor first come first serve assuming offers are the same but local deals will be preferred. The rockers and tow hooks seem to be particularly popular.

Harland Sharp 1.7 Roller Rockers - $225 only about 20K miles on them
K+N FIPK 2 - $150 - in good shape, airfilter is dirty, comes with brand new never used prefilter
MSD coil - $20
OEM Tow Hooks - $75 - http://greenbay.craigslist.org/pts/2778780283.html - sale pending
Heavy Duty Rear Bumper - $275 - http://greenbay.craigslist.org/pts/2778799056.html
Heavy Duty Headache Rack - $150
Regular Cab and Doors from a 1996 - minimal rust - $250
EGR Kegger Intake manifold- $40
PCM for 1994 w/ 318, auto - $40

1994 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 - 195K, motor has rod knock but truck runs and drives, engine has hughes plenum plate, lower mileage rear end, newer trans with transgo shift kit and B+M cast aluminum pan, front end has newer bearings, u joints, ball joints and a posi-lock to engage CAD, has pacesetter headers, magnaflow highflow cat and flowmaster collector, 2" front lift spacers, 2.5" rear AAL, lots of other newer parts, clean title, will be throwing in random dodge parts I have lying around - $750

I will add links to CL postings when I get the CL listings done as some of this really needs pictures. Prices are just guesses on what the stuff is worth so if they are way off make an offer. I want this stuff gone.
