Long story short my wife wrecked my truck and destroyed driver side headlight (along with a lot of other things!). I just purchased stock sport replacements from Amazon and all the reviews were good. I was wondering about installing HID kit? Is it possible with the stock sport style?

 

HIDs are designed to be used with projector lenses. If you don't do it properly then it just creates an awful glare for oncoming traffic.

 

by projectors are you meaning the aftermarket one piece euro style design? I don't quite care for those myself... I do have the sport model w/ stock headlights...

 

I actually just got my HID's in the mail today. I ordered the High Beam kit only. The reason for that was cause I cant afford new headlights and I wanted the HID's. You can get the kits for low beam, high beam and fog lights but will be blinding people like has been stated. The high beam kit is is the way to go since you shouldnt have them on when going towards oncoming traffic. Just my 2 cents.
