It looks like a holograph is being projected off the right side of it, or maybe like jelly fish. It is the normal gray on the 3/4 that you can see but coming off the dark side it has a blue tint and looks sort of see through , almost like a holograph. The see through part is about 1/5 the width of the entire moon. There's a little bit of fog high up in the air but not at ground level. I've never seen fog make the moon look like that. I wish Heather would have left here DSLR here last night because that thing looks pretty cool.
Anyone know what would make the moon look like it does this morning?

It would be nice to blame inebriation but it was just before I left for work so I was sober as a judge.
Maybe I was having a flashback from my pot smoking days. It looked pretty cool either way.

Yeah the other day there was a full moon with a creepy smokey circle surounding it. I took a pic but you can only see it in negative

 

that's an alien eyeball.. I didn't realize they were so close.. we're effed, fellas..
