Default Oil Pressure Guage doesnt move

I have a '98, 1500, 4X4, Quad Cab, with the 5.9L V8. Now I have a mysterious oil leak, I havent discovered the origin of the leak but that'll be another thread when I find it.
I recently (this morning) changed the oil and am now noticing the the Oil Pressure Guage goes to about 35 on the guage and doesnt move, no matter whether I rev the engine up, drive it, doesnt matter. It just doesnt move except for when I turn the truck off. What is causing this? Any help would be INSANELY appreciated. Thanks!

have you tried the jedi mind trick on it yet?

"needle, you are moving, aren't you?"

the gauges are notoriously inaccurate.. get an analog gauge on it and see what it says..

Drew, I have the stock guages in the cluster. The oil guage worked prior to the oil change.

you should still put a mechanical guage on it. also it could be your sending unit. please add all of your truck info to your signature block. the more we know about your truck, the more we can help
