moving cross country
I only need about 3 more inches of lift and it will be lol. And you want you pinion angle to be slightly higher than that braise when you hit the gas it torques the angle down and levels it out

Unless you have a cv-jointed rear driveshaft (which you don't) you need your rear pinion to be parallel to the tcase output (fig.2)
You are in fig 4 territory right now, except worse haha
What you are suggesting would put you in fig 3 land. Which is still wrong.

Lol well by the time I'm done it will be figure number 2(unless your in a purpose built vehicle ie monster truck the you will never have figure 1. The didn't even come like that stock), I'm just happy the truck made the 1000 mile drive in one piece. Says a lot about the durability of our 2nd gens. And you know my tranny was not happy turning my 37's lol (especially with no overdrive)

Lol i'm only arguing for the sake of arguing. I don't like to admit that there is something mechanically improper as much as my pinion angle lol. I don't know why but I have a lot of pride in my rolling heartbreak...I guess that's the Texan in me lol
