Default Sneaky mod...

I'm back. I think I found a replacement transmission for my truck and I'm excited that I may be able to drive it for the first time this week! We'll see if the deal goes through tomorrow!

Anyways, to the point... I'm looking to have an optional exhaust system, if it doesn't exist, I'll find a way, because I know no better!

I believe (since I'm new to this whole thing) I have a cherry bomb on my exhaust system, therefore it's rather loud, especially since the tailpipe is broken right after the cherry bomb and its just airing out to the world... Anyways, I live in a complex where I'm surrounded by military families. I love it hear because it is quiet, most family's quiet down early since everyone has PT around 5am.. well I don't want to be that guy that has the loud f'ing truck that everyone hates! Therefore, this is my solution...

I want a electric option to switch between a loud exhaust system and a "sneaky" or at least manageable exhaust system... In my mind I figure I'll have some sort of eletric motor that will turn a valve to direct my exhaust down one or the other options I have installed... does this already exist? If so, where can I look at the option? If not, it's time to pick up a welder and a first aid kit!

Thanks!

Well, look at your stewie01... look at you.

Exactly. I looks like the manual one I would literally have to change the pipe out? I'd rather have the electric one...Tho for $280 dollars, I'd rather take my chances of finding some in a salvage yard (e.g. looking at all vehicles all day long if necessary) or find somewhere cheaper... Now for the next question, what is the quietest exhaust system I can put on my 96 dodge ram 1500? I think I can figure out loud... I want a gluttural sound.. like a deep throaty "help me im drowning" noise

You know, I took a video for you on my phone. And that day it proceeded to die. Once I get a replacement I'll upload it.

Yes sir, it does. I'm getting one.

Part 2.... Would it benefit me to get an exhaust pipe connected to the cutout switch to give it more of a gluttural sound? or would that just mute it more? I want that throaty noise!

Thanks for the video!

P.s. lawn fertilizer! get some!

kthnxbai!
