Got ya,Im wondering if I should just hold off till the baby comes&pull it down in the garage&do it all myself then just not sure if I can squeeze the time to do it.Ive read the sticky&read the diy in my haynes. It dosnt seem too hard.

A good double roller timing set is around $50. At 134,000 miles, mine had about 3/4" slack in it. It is a good investment while you have the intake off. Not required, but it won't ever be any easier.

i just towed a tandem axle car trailer on tuesday. about 30 miles 2k pounds unloaded to the destination, and then 30 miles home 6k+ pounds loaded down with a 98 grand cherokee.

5.2 just shy of 180k, and i took it easy, did pretty good on the on ramps, although speeding up was a PITA it wasnt completely gutless. i do have a new timing chain, hughes plenum fix, and a superchips 93 tune. so im sure it helped a little.

3.55 gears and 285/75/16 tires.
