Happy Birthday to Me!!!
Well thanks buddy
I want to really make sure that I am happy with this thing when I am done with it, hence the effort to really do things right.
I recieved my new flywheel today! Man this thing is heavy! It looks like it has been sitting on a shelf for quite a while too. Probably not a super best seller at any rate...

I put in the new clutch slave/master cylinder assembly today, and I realized I never took them pictures! So here they are.
Old

New

Also I put the rest of the engine back together, and installed that new flywheel. I had the itch, so I put on the bellhousing and starter in place, hooked up the battery, and gave 'er a go. I was sad to find that it won't start
It turned over, and caught a couple times, but no vroom vroom. It's showing code 41, generator field not switching properly. Apparantly this can be triggered by a bad battery, which I have, so I don't think that's the issue. I guess I'm gonna grab some starter fluid and see if it runs on that. The gas was put in Nov 23rd, so it could be that... I really hope the gas is okay, it's got a full tank...

Don't say that!
I think I have heard of treatments for bad gas? I never really paid attention... Anybody? I would like to be able to use the 30ish gallons that are in it....

Just throwing this out there... I used the Marine Grade mix of Stabil in my old 01 1500 V6, seemed to give her some pep after I finished the bottle after 3 fill ups. Never seen any bad effects from it, stuff smells STRONG! I had thought I received some bad gas from a local mini mart, so my father told me to get some as he used it in all of his vehicles regularly.
