I HAVE to grow old, I DON'T have to grow up. I am just an 18 year old kid, in a 51 year old body.

Depending on your location and rust factors... I'd agree with redneck, not much, like $1,500 max.
I was offered $ 1000k for trade in, I told the dealer to stick it up their a--, and then when I purchased the new vehicle, well...they stuck it up mine, lmao!

As a buyer, you should be looking at the trade in value and give a bit more than fair trade in value. However, I would say that your truck is less than fair.

For instance, if you were offered 1000 for your truck, I would take anything over 1000 for the truck. I am not sure I would pay 1000, and that is only because it seems like it needs about 2500-3K in work. I could buy a better truck for 4K rather than get a "fix er up."

For instance, my truck trade in value is 7K (I only have 55K miles). My private seller value is $10,800. I would probably settle for something in between. That value is also without including everything done to the truck (Ziebart "the works" package, camper top, plenum, SCT, Injectors, MSD box/coil, headers, valvecovers...AND 5 years left on a transferable extended warranty). However, that stuff does not add much cash value, it just makes people want the truck more. Which, in a backwards way, does add to the value. Well, the warranty would. It is 0 deductible.

The miles, condition and work it needs dictates about $1200-1500 tops, but don't forget to add $2000 for the sexy red paint!!!

I appreciate all the responses, appreciate the funnies added in, that's what makes this forum fun! I am going to ask $ 3000 and accept $2300 as my bottom line. The only things it really needs is a fix for the power sterring leak and new front and back brakes. My neighbor may be interested for $ 25-2300. It really is a great truck, the engine runs smooth and there is NO hesitation when you hit the gas. It's been well maintained and it is the last of the 318's! Thanks again for all the reply's!

Honestly, from what I'm seeing around here for like trucks, I think you're a bit optimistic - but hey, you know what they say: "There's an a$$ for every seat", you might get what you want for it...
