her truck knows its back there i need to do air bags on the back my truck weighs in around 5900lbs with bumpers and winch...and my trailer is heavy at 3100 lbs so i know i am a little over weight on hers i just need to buy a 2wd cummings..... Her rig is a 01 off road so it has 5.9 4.10 gears..... it tows it just fine and elec brakes work great on the trailer. It just squats a little to much for my liking...

well now on to my weekend adventure... It started out with my buddys suburban getting hot on the drive out to on the side of the road we pulled the t stat. problem #1 fixed then we get there set up camp go play all night saturday. It poured down rain so we had fun doing that. Then we woke up sunday ate got ice started with the breakfast of champions (bacon sandwiches and bud light). then i noticed my driver side u joint in the axle the cap broke off....

So i took it easy trying not to brake it lucky i had a spare axle.... just didnt want to have to change it. well long story short my buddy just went to "turn around" in a little hole well it was the weekends glory hole lol it was like quick sand well 4 trucks 2 tractors a burnt up winch motor on my truck and about 9 hours and he was out

 

 

 

 

 

Ooops.

That should be the poster picture for minimalist interiors on off-road rigs. His carpet is gonna STINK for a while. (at least, until he cleans it. )

 

 

yeah by the seat was under water by the time it got done sinking.....it was a botomless hole basically

 

They always say "Walk the hole before you drive thru it."...... I suppose that leaves you a choice, get the interior nasty, because you are soaking wet, or, get the interior nasty, when the water decides it wants to be in the truck too.......

Bring along a victim to walk water holes for you? With multiple changes of clothes, and a portable shower?

Cover one of the seats with plastic, so your hole walking victim doesn't get the interior as nasty?

What a conundrum.

 

That is one reason my 4X4 Yota has highway tires on it......
