Default not liking search

I always see people on here saying SEARCH first or google is your friend.
Me personally, I really don't like the search function on here, I usually try and use it before posting a thread if I think it's been talked about before.
But, lately I've been using google to search dodgeforum. You can't really narrow it down to one section, but you can try.
Just wondering if anyone else does this, if you don't know what I'm talking about, in the google search bar type site:dodgeforum.com then what your searching. I usually also type 2nd gen RAM which helps narrow it down to that.
Just wondering if anyone else searchs that way?

I've actually seen better search results from this site when not logged in to your account. Weird.

When I google something for the truck or another Dodge usually it puts a bunch of dodgeforum threads at the top of the list anyway.

That's where I originally learned about searching through google, because if there is a list of results from dodgeforum, there should be a choice that says "More results from dodgeforum.com" and if you click on that it brings you to the same thing I said before.

And, I've heard before about getting better results if you're not signed in, I never tried it, if I remember I'll try sometime.

It does suck, (which is why I for one have pretty much stopped saying it). Except for saying search the FAQ/DIY section. I get better results using advanced search and putting quotes around the search title.

I don't know what you mean, because I never have to search for anything, since I already know everything.

LOL, the only time I use the search on DF, is when I'm looking for an answer for some one else on here. That's because I have have 6 million bookmarks on most topics. LOL
