auto or manual trans? if auto: get a built automatic (like suncoast or goerend) before you do any kind of power modifications. if manual: get a good clutch (valair or southbend) before any power modifications.
also good lift pimp like airdog 150, raptor 150, fass 150, and some gauges (EGT, Boost, Trans temp)

If you are buying as a lien sale, and it was registrationn lien, it would be satisfied. If not, then no. Does Cali continue to charge registration on non reg vehciles? That cannot be right. I bought a 88 Jaguar in 2002 form a guy in cali. Last time it was registerd was 99. Paid nothing to state of cali....but I was living in New Mexico at the time and surrenderd cali title for NM title.....
So if someone discovered a 1932 Model A in a pasture, bought it to restore....back registration fees would be like $285.978.33. Heck....I'd move!
