Default Leaking Master Cylinder Reservoir Cap

Quick question... My brake master cylinder reservoir cap is leaking out a little bit of fluid every time I drive the truck-I'm pretty sure it just recently started a couple days ago. Is it a simple fix of just replacing the cap or is there a different issue going on? The gosh darn cap is $15.00 at the dealer which is a far away drive as it is, and I was just there like two weeks ago so I wanna make sure that's all it is.

Anyways, previous work to the brake system was just pads, rotors, and a hub assembly a few months ago. Nothing else was touched and I haven't put any extra fluid into the reservoir so I'm fairly certain it isn't overfilled.

Thanks for any help.

Where do you think all that fluid goes when you compress the caliper pistons?

There should be a little 'level indicator' type window on the side of the tank, check and see if it is indeed at the correct level. My guess is, it's a tad over full.

+1 on this. Also, check your local auto parts store in the HELP section (dorman products) and see if they have one that will fit.
