Few accomplishments at the OHV park and here's main one. Not a touch anywhere.

Then went to pose it up for the heck of it and my power steering pump said....screw off. I was back to driving something out of the 70s.

No whining, no hissing, nothing unusual. Just no power steering. Pulley running fine and no leaks anywhere, until an hour later the back of the pump.

Picked up a new one from Napa ($50) and fluid and hope to have it swapped tonight after the 100F temp takes a hike.

Default Built Adjustable LCAs

With all the rocks out here my lower control arms do not like me. I'm still in process of collecting parts for my axles, so in the meantime I've made these fully adjustable lower control arms. Installing them to stock length and could be adjusted for fitting 37s. Joints will be reused for the long arms I'll make next year.

Had a failed attempt at install today b/c the passenger axle bolt would not let go. Fused to the clevite bushing. So I'll be completely removing that crap and got a good idea for the replacements.

nuff words and pics.

Badass. I am jealous. I have been wanting adjustable tube arms since leveling. More important things to spend my money on though, like gears...

What was the final parts bill?

Joints that I picked and where you have room based on choices. I chose these b/c (to be proven) are a Johnny Joint that is like a clevite. I decided I'm not going to run any heims a long time ago. These Metal Cloak joints fit directly to the Dodge factory brackets, which was big bonus.

2RH, 2LH = ~$240

Square Tube Adapters -- again a place where you can choose differently, but I've messed with other adapters and these are the bomb.

2LH, 2RH = $14x4 = $56

Jam Nuts

http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/125JLH.html

2RH, 2LH = $4.25x4 = $17

2x2x.25" Link Material -- I got 2 12" sticks for $80. Not the greatest price

$313 not including link material. I think I did my math right.

Nice, but I guess I figured doing it yourself would be significantly cheaper than buying the parts from a retailer... There is something to doing it yourself though. When/if you go to the long arms let me know if you want to off-load these

I figure I'm way ahead when compared to DORs short adjustables (4) at $800, not including tax/shipping.

Forgot that the rebuildable part is 1 piece. $20 or so to replace. However, todate the vendor says they don't know anyone that has killed them....yet. Some rigs running them are baja-ish. The joint can also be used in Johnny Joint as well as of a month or so ago.

thats sweet what you did with the lower arms. I just ordered the tube fixed lower control arms for mine.. i honeslty am never gonna do more than the bigger coils so they should be fine. i got mine from the bushingking on ebay for 150 bucks.. You got a real nice setup going on that truck i hope to start fabricating like you are with your truck. id personaly like a big steel rear bumber for mine but the front bumber you made is litteraly perfect ha
