What's lighter about an R/T over that one?

Doesn't have some of the electronics, smaller swaybars, lighter brakes, and possibly lighter wheels/tires as well. The 11 has a appearance/handling package over the R/T, no additional performance goodies.

Gotcha. Well given the choice I think I'd rather have the 11. Easy enough to tune a LOT more power out of that motor The exclusivity of it makes it worth it, plus better suspension and brakes aren't a bad thing...

2X1972, can you sneak up there and measure how wide the stripes are and the space between them? If I do it I'm going to do it right!

Hahaha I will try to do it! Won't be till next week though (4 day weekend ), if it is still there. If I do happen to see it again, I will stop and very conspicuously bust out the tape measure.

I'm thinking that would look sweet! You could even put the "MOPAR" text on the tailgate where "DODGE" is supposed to go

So cool. If you are into paycheck rigs
IMO, this is knee jerk reaction about putting a Hemi in a jeep. My reasoning being that for the last couple years people have started swapping out their "no legs 6 cylinders" for Hemi. Before that it was Magnums. I think there are 3 kits out there for the Hemi drop in. We've got one rig in our club that just did a swap last month with the 5.7 VVT Hemi and accompanying tranny. Done in 2 weeks. I think he picked the AEV kit.

The 4 door JKs need something bigger from the factory.....

Nice find on the Mopar 11 though. That is indeed sharp looking.

PS. forgot to mention that the rig I just talked about attended Easter Safari this year. The swap was done just prior so that he could run Moab with the Hemi.
