Default Looking at new truck

I know this is 2nd gen forum but i like yall more. lol So the truck im looking at replacing mine with is a 05' 2500 4x4 with the 5.7l hemi. Its got 33" nitto grapplers and true dual straight pipes, loud as ****. They are asking $13,900 for it and it has 168k on it. It drives great and rides great. I cant find anything wrong with it besides the fact someone did a ****ty wiring job on a sound system that is no longer there. Just some wires ran here and there and a couple of tweeters dangling from their wires. I cant afford a diesel in a 3rd gen and a 1500 wont hold up to the abuse im going to put it through so i think this truck fits my needs perfectly. Ive already read about the common problems of the 3rd gens in the 3rd gen forum and it doesnt seem to have any of those problems. i wish i had got some pictures of it while i was there. What are yalls opinions on this truck?

insurance is tryin to screw me. Only want to give me $3400.....which is not enough for the down payment i need to put on this truck. I may end up having to buy it back or buy another 2nd gen. Im just worried that if i buy it back that I will find the frame is bent.

$13,900 sounds like too much, even for Texas.

I would try more like 10 or 11. If that.

We need pictures to decide otherwise.

If you can get your old truck back for $1 then go for it With the impact and damage done to the rear axle I don't see how the frame could have stayed true, even if it's just off a little.... Could be a big risk if you have to pay "real" money to get it back.

$14k for a truck that new with that many miles on it is pretty high, even if they're highway miles, IMO.

Look on Craigslist or check around with some private seller's, might find a deal that could leave you with gas money I bought mine from a private seller for $2500 cash.
