Rears were 305/70/16's. Fronts were 285/75/16's.

LOL! The 285's are actually 1/4 of a millimeter bigger in diameter. (assuming tire sizes are accurate, which they never are)

So what is the difference in the 305-70-16s and the 285/75/16's? Are they a little wider? (I can't keep the metric size thing straight.....)

305 = width. 305mm
70 = aspect ratio. 70% of 305 = sidewall height starting at the rim.
16 = ...never mind
