FWIW I live about 10-15 minutes northeast of Vancouver and I like it here. Weather is probably a little less rainy down here than Seattle. Portland is a cool city but I loathe most of the people, good luck going anywhere without a bum asking you for a buck. It's nice working in WA and not having a state income tax, then going to Oregon to buy expensive things tax free
