By now all you regulars know I am less than happy in my job in the Air Force, and ESPECIALLY where I am stationed. Last August I was recommended for medical discharge, and today I finally got called in to sign the papers. They approved it! Brittany, my fiance, will be coming down to visit July 10th, so we will just cancel her return ticket, and make it a road trip. We were planning to visit friends in Tennessee in early August, and it looks like the time frame for the seperation will be just about perfect for us to head that way, stay a while, and head on home at our leasure. I am in disbelief that it is finally happening. It's that big of a deal to me... Just wanted to tell you guys. I am keeping it a secret from my family so one day I will just show up and surprise their socks off
Thats awesome man. Thanks again... are you more excited to be out or to be with your 72?
Most excited to be with my Fiance, younger siblings, and family. 2nd is out of the military, and third is to be with my 72's

I am curious to see how well they will all get along. My '95 has gotten used to getting all the attention, and my '72s are old and grumpy, so hopefully there won't be any territorial dispute.

Glad you're getting out.
Thanks, me too! I am medically unfit for duty due to the non-functioning nature of one of my appendages. Wanna guess which one?
