3rd Gen rear bumper install
that crossed my mind, however..... the 3rd gen front bumpers stick out further than 2nd gen fronts. this wouldnt work for me, because i wouldnt be able to put my plow on anymore, and thats a huge issue for me!
well i finished the bumper install last night. i ended up making some "s" brackets to stabilize the bumper from wobbling. it worked!
last thing i have to do is get the sockets, and part of a 3rd gen plate light wiring to finish it all up!

Wow that doesn't look half bad! I've been thinking of getting a 4th gen rear bumper with the dual exhaust cutouts, I'm thinking it would look kinda cool, plus you can find them on Craigslist around here for like $150 a pop!
the 4th gen bumpers wont fit unless you cut the sides back. they wrap around the bed a bit, and wont clear our beds.
i was going to go with a 4th genner too, but didnt for that reason.

finished up the wiring today for the plate lights. i dont have any pics of that though.
picked up the wiring from an 02, at the local JY. wires were white/yellow, and black. 2002 service manual said they were supposed to be black/yellow, and black. so i just went with my gut, and got it all wired up!
i used butt connectors that have the heat shrink on them, looks clean!
