all you need to do is bolt a bracket to the receiver hitch. it doesnt bolt to the frame at all.

gonna bump this thread up.
i never did get around to making stronger brackets. dont have access to a welder, nor the material to make new ones.
original brackets broke at the bend, so the bumper is now back off the truck.
i have contacted wh1t3nukle and have asked for his help on making new ones.

I welded a big nut on the top of the hitch and have a bolt the size of the hole for the ball on the bumper that holds it up aswell it is not going any where, I will get pics when I change out my bed in a couple of weeks
