i pressure washed them and preped them, just didnt disasemble them. ill get more pics when i do the install. should take long.

Of course it's gonna get nasty, but when I get done hosing it all off under there (which you ALWAYS should do) I would like my paint to still be attached. Not my truck, so do whatcha want, but I just don't like half-assing anything. Still gonna be a sweet swap

EDIT: Also, I would have dissembled them anyway, to re-fresh them and check to make sure everything's good before slapping them under my truck.

 

but pressure washing does not get it down to bare metal and if you paint over rust you will just get more rust.

 

POR15..... Black, goes on over rust, durable. Almost bullet proof.....

 

From the pictures I can tell you painted over grease and dirt as well LOL anyway you obviously don't really care and that's okay too.
