Long ago someone gave me a large stack of "Speed Age" mags. from about '50 on. Still get the urge once in a while to buy a Hudson Hornet. Oldsmobile did pretty good at the track too.

 

Well, I have hot rod 'zines from '49 or so. Here's whats in my garage.

My Dad's '41 Plymouth. Yes it has a SBC but it was free!



And this is my '39 Chevy sedan. It's chopped and has a Speedway straight axle, '59 Pontiac rear. Motor is going to be set way back. I had a BBC for it but I had to sell it. So it sits there waiting.
