disability doesn't pay very good. i know if i was quit my job i could only afford to pay insurance and keep gas in one of my trucks with how much i get from disability.

 

NDT pays even better I have a few ultra sonic certs (level 2 here)

 

I was going to go on a rant here about getting money collected from having a job (like the job or not, and or the hours), or disability, unemployment, and what not. But I think I better keep my mouth shut for a change. lol That aside, I will say keep your job as long as you can, and save money. Because we ain't seen nothing yet.

 

I had been working nights full-time over the summer, but with College starting back up in a couple weeks I needed something different. Went to the only gas station in my town, asked about a job, and boom, I start tomorrow... Easy enough. haha

I'm just ready to get my 2 year degree, Go to work for a couple more years until I turn 21 to save a little cash (or get a new Charger), then join the Highway Patrol.

 

If **** ever hits the fan, money will only be useful for a bit. Then its just survival...

 

I love my job....I saved a life this week, and that feels pretty darn good...... and tomorrow I am "sicking" and attorney on CPS in another county (and that will feel pretty good as well)!

Lots of NDT stuff around here...don't know where they all go during the day....but lots of trucks on several company lots around...

 

Yea, I know I work in mills though. However Im not wanting to travel nomore. Also got some 20s and 33s.
