Well...TXDPS says my truck weighs 5500 lbs.
They take the GVWR and subtract 1000lbs and thats how they come up with that number.
Hell, they say my dad's is 4900....

If yours is 4wd it should weigh a little more but take it by a scale sometime and see. Mine weighed 5640 at the landfill with myself, kids, dog, and 1/2 tank. I just subtracted our weight. I would think a regular cab would be quite a bit lighter also
