Miles per gallon - What are you getting?
I filled up yesterday. My rule of thumb measurement was off-14.1 mpg rather than the 12 mpg I roughly estimated. So driving totally normal for a full tank of fuel cost me 5 mpg. It is all about driving and accelerating slow. So, back to 50 mph max and taking 30 seconds to get up to speed.
I used to average 45mpg in my 02 TDI jetta...
but a ford exploder became insanely jealous of that economy and put a stop to it...

after:

insurance money from that is what made the down payment on my truck, and insurance money from the medical part is what paid for the twin turbos and some of the supporting mods..
miss that car and its awesome fuel economy...thing did awesome in the snow and ice too, and I never once ran snow tires or chains.

Many years ago, I put a 2.3L VW Golf diesel into a 1994 Suzuki Sierra (Jimny)... use to get ~40mpg... with the 40gal main and two 12gal aux tanks, it would make a long trip (especially with some Jerry cans on the back).
