And although most everyone thinks I am a native, I was actually born in one of the two places you mentioned! The only one one the family not born here! But I do not catch as much grief now - that some have "chosen" to move to OK....heehee...

Of the many facets of Oklahoma that I don't like, it's a helluva lot better than California and a few other places. I've pretty much decided not to move to the PNW because the economy here is much stronger, I'm "settled", and it wouldn't make much sense to leave. With my house almost paid off, I'm making plans to raze the structure and build the house I always wanted (I have 10 acres).
