Default How much is a working 46re worth?

Going to be pulling my 46re out for a diesel swap in my 1998 1500.

How much can I get for it with tcase and torque converter.

I just changed the fluid at 167k miles and it had an average amount of black clutch material on the magnet, but no shavings.

There wasn't much on ebay to compare it to?

Thanks Guys!!!

ill give you a hundred for the transmission, as its got high miles, and probly on its death bed.

the t-case probly has a broken snap ring and a cracked case.

tq converter's on our trucks are junk. so its not worth much more than its weight in metal......

How would you know if the tcase is in the condition you stated? I yanked a tcase off a 96 ram that had 216 miles and it was in better condition internally than my 98.

assuming everything works and you'd give a 10 or 30 day warranty, i ask for a little under junkyard pricing. i haven't looked, but i'd guess at $500-600 for transmission and $400 for tcase. put it up on the forum and craigslist. the transmission is pretty much too heavy to affordably ship, and would have to go freight. the t-case is only about 75 pounds, so with proper packaging, you can ship it anywhere. the stock torque converter probably won't sell.
