Any idea the cause of the clearance issue?

I'm thinking that it's just too much lift for a 2wd 2500. The 2" spacers work on a 1500 but I doubt that it would work with 2500 springs. Since the suspension on the 2500 and 1500 are identical I'm led to believe that its like putting 4" of lift on a 1500 without changing spindles, just doesnt work.
