In most Texas counties, the troopers, county mounties and judges come from the same couple of families. Like Van Horn and Fort Stockton. Bite one bean and you take on the whole burrito. It's called Texas justice for a reason. Judge Roy Bean started it, but it's been perfected since.
Maybe in a few Texas counties, but in MOST Texas counties, Troopers come are assigned in areas where they are not from. But county cops, locals, and JP's....that is usually pretty common in smaller population counties (which is MOST Texas counties!) But the Judge Roy Bean influence is very much alive and well throughout most of west Texas!

I have a CHl and am part of the NRA.
and by know means do I let cops walk over me I have never liked them and probley never will. Yes I know ther are some good cops out there and actually do there job and I respect them but the cops that abuse there power give them all a bad name.

That's really a crappy thing to say about homosexuals.
I wouldn't have a second thought about it if one of my kids or grandkids were to announce that he or she is queer, but I'd disown any one of 'em for turning pig.
