New suspension
Hello Ramheads,
I have been tossing around a few ideas on replacing my rear leafs and front coils. Right now I am stock height running 33" tires. I am not going with bigger tires however, want a little higher stance. Right now my rear leafs are shot, near straight across. Because of this my truck sits perfectly level, which I like. But rides like a boat on water.
This is my plan, superlift 4.5" rear leaf springs, remove the factory 3" lifting blocks. Which should give me 1.5"-2" of lift in the rear over stock. Next replace the front coils with Moogs 2500 coils, doing this should add about 2" to the front without needing spacers. Could add 1" blocks to the rear should it sit lower than the front when all said and done.
My ultimate goal is to stay under 3" over stock. As to not need to change steering components.
Would this setup work.
