Default Diggin into timing

Well, Im finally getting around to doing the timing chain and gears. I got the Cloyes double roller chain and gears, Felpro gasket set w/o sleeve, RTV sealant, upper and lower radiator hoses, clamps, radiator, radiator cap, oil and filter, and coolant.

Doing the radiator because the old one is bulging the top row and has been doing so slowly since I got the truck. I figured Id do it all at once.

Water pump is only a year old, I did that when I did the plemun. I just didnt have the extra funds to do the chain and gears at the time. So I'll reuse it.

Am I forgeting anything?

I was/am thinking it was. Just making sure. One of those situations where the more I think about it, the more I think I missed something.

I think I need to quit thinking.

Stant super-stat t-stat, gasket.
remove drain plugs from block and flush. drain plugs hide behind engine mounts on both sides. little hex head plugs.

backflush heater core. i recommend cutting heater hoses in convenient place in the middle of the engine. it makes it easy to open the hoses and flush. dorman makes a cheap 5/8 or 3/4 splice.

I would have the bypass hose just in case. May come apart when you pull it. Can return if you don't need it. Save a trip!

+1^^

It might be kinda hard to get off...cutting it off is alot easier. Then just replace it.
