tint ticket?
I had dark tint on my old charger when I lived in California. There is a work around, but it is not always the best choice depending on weather. As long as your windows are all the way down when you are driving they are not allowed to ask you to roll them up to test them. Some might anyways, but as long as you are not driving with them up you can beat that in court. The reason I had them on my car was to save the interior in the desert sun. I hated them when it got dark or dim outside so I drove with them down 90% of the time any ways.
Truck looks bad a$$, quick question is your windshield tinted too?
@OK Ram i had a cop pull me over once and made me roll up my windows then handed me the ticket.so im guessing they can ask you to roll them up

That is one of those things you have to be willing to fight about. I had the dark tint, but really hated it when I drove around. Got a ticket for the officer telling me to roll up the window at a traffic check-point.
Went to court on it and the judge asked me why it was on the car. I explained I had it on there to try and keep my car cooler and to keep the sun off of my vinyl seats. He asked if they were up or down when I was driving. The officer also testified they were down. So the judge threw it out. Every case will be different, as will every county across the land. That was just my experience

Never been hasseled with mine,Windows have been tinted since I bought it in 93.Pulled over a few times for "safty inspection" just to check out the truck. No big, depends on your attitude and body english if you get hassled....Personal experience....
yeah seems to be all sorts of technicalities and what not, i never have any issues where i am but like i said before was in a different county where the cops are real hardasses about everything. i love the dark tint i couldnt drive without it now. @joseortizservin thanks and no thats just the angle of the picture, i have an 8 inch strip of 5% on the windshield. couple of my buddies have 5 all around and 35 on the whole windshield its sweet but then youre just asking for it from the cops.
