they should not crack I got them from a friend who heat treated them long ago so im hoping they will be good

Heat treating rims? That's asking for trouble... You walk into any tire shop around here and tell em you heat treated it, theyll take the broom (or worse) after you...

this was back when they were much newer they were made in 1982 treated in 85 so it wasn't that frowned upon then

whats with people and leveling trucks? the moment you level it it become useless as a truck and make you look stupid if you put any weight in the box and have you nose way up in the air.
