I got my "new to me" leather seats installed yesterday. They're out of a 2000 or 2001 Ram and are like new!!







They go up and down, back and forth, too cool for school. Quick question, does anyone know why the seatbelt light now stays on?? My installer couldn't figure it out. It didn't do it before the swap.

My thought regarding the seat belt light is something being unplugged under the seat.

old man has new leather seats for a common rail sitting in the shop on top of the quad post lift...

they are for trucks with the seatbelt on the cab/floor rather than built into the seat like second gens...

 

Thanks for the props! Not only do they look good, but my ride is really smoother now. My guess is that the old seats weren't very well padded so you felt every little bump and grind.

^Yeah, the leather seats had a thicker, firming foam padding. Plus yours were prolly worn out by the time you replaced them.

Yeah, mine doesn't work unless it's really cold outside.
