Nice truck, but more pics of that red one! Reminds me of mine, except reg cab. and screw the haters, rock the mirrors flipped. whenever i break down and get a set i will be towing invisible trailers.
Nobody is hating on anything. Its the fact that they are useless unless you haul wide or long loads... it makes ya look like an idiot driving around with them flipped up.. i have yet to ever need them flipped up on my towing truck... and yet ive hauled things that you wouldnt think about putting near your 1500...

completely agree! however i have used mine when towing. 2 jeeps, and my mothers camper. coming soon is a new camper that will be twice the size of my mothers, so mirrors will be needed!
only time that they should be flipped out all the time is, on 2500s and up with dump beds, or if youre towing daily.
Maybe it's all the horse haulers around here, so I am used to seeing them, but I don't have a problem with the extended mirrors. Come to think of it, I've never even thought about them until this thread, but there are tons of Rams around here with them and they are almost always extended. I guess it depends on what you're used to seeing.

Well....errr....actually....you are. Anyway, on that truck I'll agree they look a tad out of place flipped up. On the red one, IMO, the dumbo ears would look right at home. Big has to go with big to look good. Same as how a big steel Road Rhino bumper would look funny on the black truck but sweet on the red.
