The 01 not looking happy from yesterdays accident



Thankfully I'm not at fault, talk to the claim adjuster Tuesday morning.

 

^ What happened?

 

Lady in a Honda minivan pulled right out in front of me and hit her driver front wheel. Notice all the black scuffs on the lower plastic.

 

Ah.

Looks around $1200-$1500 in damages or so.

But yeah hit her van good enough that the hood cracked the windshield and now the drivers door sags when opened. But the kind of funny part in all the chaos is it happened right in front of a body shop.

 

What....red driver can't see red driver??



Kidding. Glad everyone is alright...right? Bummer on the accident. What is your coverage level....most ppl with our dinosaur-ish trucks only carry liability. I can see the level of damage $$$ that Stewie is saying, but I may double it. Your hood looks like it might have jacked up the hinges. How is the whole radiator support???


Bah, that just burns me up seeing it and thinking of the cost....which is crazy!! Fight your insurance for fair value!!! (not that you aren't doing that, just saying it out loud)

Cobra 29 lx that i just temp hooked up this morning, works great, talked to a guy about 20 miles away, a lot better than my midland that couldnt make it across my parking lot.



7" flip out display, with a backup camera hooked up



Installed a truck horn, with compressor and everything.



With my compressor switch and horn button inside!



And last and most certainly not least, Ole' Glory flying

 

We both walked out fine. I do only have liability on the truck but I'm not at fault so her insurance has to pay for damages. What really sucks I can't pop the hood to see whats all messed up.
