Wrong line but look at the rear tire squat.



Look at the rear tire again. You have to try and walk the front end over until you get almost sideways.



So now I am getting lined up to crawl up the obstacle.



Almost there and see the ledge swallow my 38" tall tire?



I'm getting there.



Looks worse than it is.

 

It's only the first one that hurts... after that, it's just another one...

 

I'd lost the front axle in my daughters Comanche and couldn't figure out why. Well today it had stopped raining and was nice enough for me to work on it. So I pulled the front diff cover but can't seem to find a thing wrong with it.







So what do you all think? I can't see a thing wrong with the diff.

























































































Okay so took all the teeth off the ring gear and the some of the pinion too. But I got lucky and found a D30 high pinion axle with 3.73 gears which is the ratio I needed. I'll be picking it up on Tuesday.

 

That had to make some truly rude noises when it let go......

 

Looks good to me. Who knows what happened?

 

Well you know they just kept making this noise like something was grinding. But that was when I was trying to extract it from a snow bank. I am going to guess that some of the teeth were broken before I bought it.
