The guy was asking 9 for it but talked himself down to 8 by the time I got there haha.
State farm sent out my settlement, then I bought the truck, then they took the money back because they needed to make an "adjustment" for total loss for my '95. So I am very nearly broke now, and quite unhappy with it. I had better hear from them soon, because I can't even afford to transfer the title and register the truck at this point. I will be fighting them to get the original settlement too, as I was the victim, and they have no right to tell me that my truck is totalled.
Edit: Hence the Louisiana plate on the truck, from my '95 lol

Me either, I was looking at a mildly modded 2000 6 spd, but it sold, and now I am thankful to not have another 2nd gen (specifically the front end) This D60 has kingpins, locking hubs, leaf springs, no CAD, traditional wheel bearings, and that sweet crossover steering upgrade. So all the problems we put up with in our 2nd gens are not present here.
Especially this one

Welcome to owning a cummins!
and it wouldn't feel like a 250k truck...like I been tellin ya, what would be high miles on a gasoline engine, are nothing to a diesel. 250k on a diesel is like 25k in gasoline terms...
know how easy it is to increase power? get bigger injectors or a built injection pump if yours is maxed out...no worry about running rich or lean...if EGTs get too hot, and too much black smoke: bigger turbo(s)... simple!
you still got a lotta learnin to do though so don't hot rod it too much till you talk to me about EGT thresholds and such
