ever thought about fixing up the ol rust bucket? would have to stop the rust by removing the compromised stuff and seal it, then likely need to glass it from both sides, smooth it, and prime then paint...or just glass, smooth, and put bed liner on it.

Heres a couple pictures of my 97 $300 360 powered Ram 4x4 Sport I bought running back in July. This truck was such a steal on so many levels, it paid for itself the first week. Previous owners were going to do cash for clunkers on it only cuz it burnt oil, but after new plenum gasket, tune up and new valve seals it runs like a top and uses NO OIL.
The Day I bought it, I immediately washed it up!
My Sisters 2000 Sport is on the left and my Ram is on the right
Pic taken after I got done with plenum gasket.
Had some fun making some posi S marks in front of a bar after someone said "that Dodge can't burn out" lol
This is a pic of the carnage after my Rim flew off at 65mph on the highway...cause was loose lug nuts, then stressed they broke and reverse pipe cut the wheel from the inside!. Note the smoke left behind residue on my fender& doors paint from the tire starting on fire from driving it off the highway a mile and a quarter.
Note the mark from me driving the truck into the parking lot lol. Also a 2 inch thick section of the rim still stuck inside the inside rim of the tire.
