you know chrome don't get you home? your trucks starting to look a lot like a chevy with that bumper. i also got nothing against lowering the right truck but i don't think an extended cab would look right lowered. regular cab, short bed look pretty good lowered but that is about it.

 

i personally dont like the chrome, but havent found a painted bumper with factory fogs yet. eventually it will be monochromatic, as for looking like a chevy... different strokes for different folks i suppose.

 

If your truck is 2wd, lower away. I don't have a problem with that. There was someone who posted on here a few times with a dropped qc/sb on those same 3rd gen 20's. Looked good IMO. I agree the bumper is not my style, but you seemed to do it right, so it don't bother me. And how come dodges have to look like chevys? Maybe chevys look like dodges.

Ive got a blown belt in one of my 35's so I want something temporary to put on while I save for the other tires I want; a set of 235/85r16 wrangler territories. I figure for $150 cant gow rong, Ill just sell em and make money for my other ones. If that makes any kinda sense its late lol

 

Take chrome bumper and sand with 80 grit to start, then 120 grit. Scuff all chrome. Self etching primer, then high build primer. Paint desired color, clear, and buff.

I bought a non chrome new bumper for the front of mine, but reworked the rear bumper as described above.

looks like a 4x4 to me too. if you look closely you can see the shock tower. which would make it a 4x4, or are they he same on a 2wd?

 

definitely a 4x2, I've only had to put it in 4wdH once due to snow, haven't tried 4lo yet. 92 k miles $5500. I think it was a good deal. 10 city /15 highway. Shooting for 15city/20 highway

No lol . I had just bought the truck and we met the gfs ex husband (guy in the picture) to drop her boy off when I look out the drivers door and this young girl opens her door, throws up, the drives away.
