Quote: looks like a 4x4 to me too. if you look closely you can see the shock tower. which would make it a 4x4, or are they he same on a 2wd?
Do believe it's different on the 2wd, seeing we have IFS and all...

Quote: definitely a 4x2, I've only had to put it in 4wdH once due to snow, haven't tried 4lo yet. 92 k miles $5500. I think it was a good deal. 10 city /15 highway. Shooting for 15city/20 highway

No lol . I had just bought the truck and we met the gfs ex husband (guy in the picture) to drop her boy off when I look out the drivers door and this young girl opens her door, throws up, the drives away.
I think you definitely mean 4x4, you just mainly use 2 wheel drive...

Least she didn't puke on your truck.

Nice truck!
im crossing my fingers, I saw 17 on the highway when I first got it. I figure plenum fix, 14x3 , shorties with the magnaflow Y/cat, cat back, standard Plugs and wires, get rid of the death flash/tune, low rolling resistant tires, and a bed cover and she'll be there.

I've almost seen 17mpg on the interstate with my truck, same setup as in my sig pic. Some people do report an increase in mpgs with an SCT Tune, IF you can keep your foot out of the new found power

I thought 4x2 meant it was 2 wheel drive with the ability to be put in 4 wd when needed? My dd has always been 2wd trans ams and camaros, new to trucks.

4x2 means u have 4 wheels but only 2 have power
4x4 means u u power all 4 part time and switch to 2wd

your thinkin 4x4 is full time witch it is actualy allwheel drive

That's not the miracle you need!

That, and doing the last 25% of your trip with the truck on someone else's trailer will get you 20MPG.

Nope. 4x4 is a usually a 2wd vehicle with the ability to engage the front drivetrain, making it 4 wheel drive.

AWD is usually that, all wheel drive.

2wd is rear or front drive only, depending on vehicle. In a Dodge truck, it's rear wheel drive. Like mine.
