Default Interior Question

I want to mount something to the front of my dash, around the bottom of the air control box, I was planning on using double stick mounting tape but it will not stick to the bezel/plastic what so ever.

Surface is clean. Any suggestions? Mounting tape is the easiest for what I wish to do, but it if won't work oh well...

Try cleaning it with rubbing alcohol. Might work.

Edit:

But I'll try some rubbing alcohol, if that doesn't work I'll probably go to velcro.

Clear silicon works, and won't melt like addhesive does in the summer heat. Use the kind for exterior windows and use 100 percent silicone not caulk.

Would be nice to know what it is you are mounting.
