So, if you bought it for twenty bucks you'd never put more than a quarter tank of gas in at a time?

So you'd never put more value into your truck then you paid for the truck?

Never said that, never implied that. Just making a price comparison. I'm sure that by the time I'm through I will have much more into it than I paid for it. Same with my Z, I've already put into it what I bought it for.

I think that's what UnReg was getting at with the $20 truck never getting more then a quarter tank of gas, since a quarter tank in these beasts usually runs $20, depending on gas prices.....

Oh, okay. My mistake for reading into it and taking out the meaning that most guys have when they say the same thing. Lots of people insist upon viewing an automobile as an investment, which only collector's cars are.

Stand by to disregard.

I have only sold one vehicle for a profit my whole life. My first car in high school, 1969 Dodge Charger. Bought it for $300, sold it for $350. That was 27 vehicles ago...last thing I see a vehicle for is an investment...all mine since have been money pits...lol
