My wife needed a new commuter vehicle that could handle the extremely rough and perilous dirt and rock road to our property. So, we bought a 2008 Ram 1500 regular cab. It has the 3.7L, 6 speed manual, ac, cc, tilt, Rhinoliner, locking tonneau cover, rear slider and brand new Kumho 10 ply 17" tires. It has 55k miles, but literally is like new, inside and out. It's just for a 74 mile commute and grocery getting and maybe an occasional trip for a few 2x4's or a couple bags of cement. I still have my 98 Ram for all the heavy lifting. It's a nice little truck.
Looking at a chrome grill on Ebay for $80 and chrome mirrors, door handles and tailgate handle for another $100. I don't like white vehicles, so we're going to get either nose flames or some kind of cool graphics for the side.
