It's about time a hurricane scooted on by North Carolina and decided to hit north of us.

It's been a little breezy, sprinkling all day and cool (about 50º) here.

We got steady 45-50mph winds with gusts to about 70 or more tonight into tomorrow. We really dont have to worry about looters out here in the country. Only a few neighbors and i know them all. Either way the guns are always close by

We still have power, but it's been flickering for a few hours, so who know for how much longer we will have it... Yay

I got the generator all hooked up and then BOOM the power came back on. Not sure for how long though

Yup. She said if the water comes up too much more it will flood their apartment.

Well, it looks like the used car market will be (flooded) with flood damaged cars in a few months about 5 states away.

Just got power back since my last post. It's not gonna last, lights are flickering and the wind is whipping something fierce now...

as far as i can tell the power hasn't even flickered here which is actually quite surprising considering how windy it is. normally the power would be flickering or something.
