Default Water proof trans

For water fording with an auto trans is the vent tube the only thing we would have to worry about water entering through?

Vent tube?

The two biggies are the dipstick tube, which is relatively easy to waterproof, and the vent in the front pump, which is damnably difficult to waterproof. You may or may not have room behind the converter to tap that vent and install an elbow... I doubt there's room there to safely do it.

There is about 0.120" of clearance there I believe....

I'd get a boat.

You can't even see it without removing the transmission, and there's no way you're going to touch it without removing the transmission.

Buy a canoe!

Maybe if you go really fast the water will get out of your way.
